the punch bowl is a great local pub and food place. berries speciality local beer and a wine list that is low intervention and organic. also a great selection of trout with el bandara on tap! eating is a mix of meat veggie and vegan with a lot of kitchens. have been a couple of times and tried the burger, vegan ripening, loaded fries, top nachos and vegans huhn, all amazing. the personal is very nice and always happy... On Sunday, I received terrible service from a female food runner! Being short staffed isn 't an excuse for below average service. It is bad practice for staff to not acknowledge customers when they deliver food, offer condiments, or say, "enjoy your meal.. This place is massively underated. The punch bowl serve birria Bella and it was better than I could have expected. I ordered the birria beef taco and the shrimp taco which were both incredible. Personally I preferred the shrimp but would recommend both. Others ordered the beef quesadilla which was a very generous portion for the price. Pork belly bites were unreal too. Can’t fault the food, margs were great as well. Shame there isn’t more outdoor seating though. tacos were gluten free aswell!
Ale is great. On the slightly more expensive side for lager and ale.

Brilliant food since new management took over and a lovely atmosphere in the bar. Highly recommended
