The food was good. The restaurant is comfortable and it's nice to find a place where it's still possible to have a proper conversation without being blasted with too loud music and the clang of pans from the kitchen. Good service, if a little bit slow. View all feedback.
What Helen Walker doesn't like about The Jolly Fisherman on the Quay at Newcastle:
Overall a lovely dinning experience, the choice of food was very good, it was well cooked and presented. The restaurant was very quite and I did feel that occasionally it took a little time to get the attention of one of the two waitresses who were serving. The service was very very good in general. My only slight criticism was that the background music was a little loud at times . Would definitely eat here again. View all feedback.
