We have been dining at Sachins for over 40 years and have never had a bad meal. The service is top-notch, and if you haven't been, I highly recommend it. Even in our 70s, we still bring our children and grandchildren. The quality has never dropped, thanks to Bob and his team. Highly recommend trying it out soon. - Moses View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sachins:
The meat curries could use more meat as there is an excess of curry, resulting in waste. I recommend trying the Samosa Chaat, as well as the tasty lamb curry and chicken curry served with a side of my favorite garlic naan. View all feedback.
Best masala chips in the city! the other curries had a lot of food and taste, but I would get a big mix of curries, otherwise it feels like it is the same. the naan was faithful to her taste and the staff did well serve because it was id and busy.
Came here for a special occasion date. The starters were delicious. Lassi was also very good (couldn’t find it on the menus but they did have it, just ask). All food was very tasty and the interior great for date night (appears to have been updated since the photos on here). Only downside was it seemed we were a bit forgotten. Me and my date certainly enjoyed talking to each other but were waiting quite awhile between the starter and main course, and then after eating while we waited for requested takeaway boxes. We came on a Friday night but it didn’t seem so busy that there would have been such a delay. The server was apologetic and very lovely. Overall I would come here again.
Nice food at Sachins. Situated at the back of the Newcastle train station, you enter via a small lobby, and are shown to your table. Service was good, and drinks were regularly brought to our table. Good selection of dishes available, although one of our orders was incorrect and we had to send it back which was a little disappointing. Overall, an enjoyable evening.
Unfortunately we were rudely received by the elder waiter who said he was from Egypt. He was extremely rude and failed to listen. He wanted to be the centre of attention. The rest of the waiting team were good but that man left us highly frustrated
What an absolute disgrace of an establishment. Took 2 and a half hours to serve us. Half came out first and the other half of the group had to wait a further half an hour. Upon questioning why this was the case the manager had the audacity to claim it was our fault for not sharing the first wave of food despite everyone making their own orders. To top it all off the food was average at best. I will never step foot in this establishment again and would strongly advise others don't.
