A nice restaurant but one that surprised me with a few things. The taste of some dishes was not necessarily to my liking...for example the dessert did not surprise me at all despite the fact that I am a big dessert eater. The fish, on the other hand, was very good, as was the mashed potatoes or the warm bread. Honestly, I don't think I will go again, especially with a friend. Absolutely! the scallops and venison were our favorite, really beautiful service and excellent wein pairs. what a fantastic culinary experience!
Fantastic Michelin-star restaurant. had enjoyed a wonderful meal and also the wine flight. not cheap, but they get what they pay. a true culinary experience. loved the beginning where they show them in the bar, so they can get an aperitif and check the menu. a nice note.
This was our first visit to house of tides. because we are not accustomed to such upscale restaurants, despite our excitement, we were little comprehensible that we would feel something out of the place. we don't have to worry. our server was incredibly polite and friendly. she calmed us right away before she shows us on our table in bar area. here we received the menu for the evening and had time to consider which drinks choose from the excellent selection. my choice was a delicious Belgian sour beer, while my partner chose a berry cocktail, whose odour reminded of the selection of brombeer from hedgerows down country lanes. shortly after our server gave a solid advice on our wine selection before the first cure of the evening, tomaten and cumin gougere was delivered. after our first course we were shown in the dining room for the rest of the evening to our table. while I would like to give detailed descriptions of what followed, my vocabulary just won't be fair. After I said that, I would like to say a scream to the dashi meringue, gurke and dill. this little aroma was my favorite of the night. if perfection could be sold in food form, for me, that is it. Apart from the food, it is certainly worth mentioning that the service is two to none. our server was attentive and polite. we have noticed almost all server unless they supply food or wee. to the thema food and wine service we could not help but note the synchronization of the service on some of the larger tables. this love for detail is what differentiates restaurants like this from others. amazing. all in all, easily the best round restaurant experience of my life. I could not recommend.
