Contribute FeedbackThe overall consensus for this restaurant seems to be mixed. Some diners found the food to be just okay, with nothing exceptional or outstanding. A few mentioned that the menu has shrunk in recent years, affecting the quality of the dishes. However, others have praised the enjoyable dining experience, highlighting the pleasant atmosphere, good value for money, and accommodating service. A particularly positive note was made about the Sunday lunch options, with gluten-free options available for those with dietary restrictions. Despite some mixed reviews, many diners had an overall pleasant and satisfying experience at this restaurant.
We had a great Sunday lunch at this restaurant, offering a choice of 3 meats and the option to serve ourselves vegetables. As someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find that they offer a tasty gluten-free gravy. We made a reservation in advance to ensure they had it available. Overall, it was a good value meal.
We dined early at 6:00, so the atmosphere was lacking. I ordered the cod and chips, which was decent but not outstanding. My companion had a burger and thought it was just okay.
The restaurant had delicious food at a very reasonable price. It was definitely worth the money and I will definitely go back again.
The food was really good, and great value for money. The wine was very good. The service was friendly and helpful.
Used to go to Freya's restaurant years ago but the menu has shrunk dramatically and the quality of food is just ok. This is unfortunate because we use to love going to this restaurant back in their hay day.
