I visited this takeaway on Saturday May for the time after hearing recommendations. I ordered a couple of meals and both were excellent, flavoursome and substantial, i will be back, thank you View all feedback.
What Dan Florentin doesn't like about Eastend Diner:
Food used to be good here but it’s went massively down hill! Chips are rock hard nothing like they used to be, nan bread was more like a poppadom over cooked and burnt, I have no idea how they send the food out when your paying good money ? Majority of it went in the bin. View all feedback.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was delivered hot and delicious. This will be my new go-to Indian restaurant from now on. I used to frequent Jaipur for years, but they have since closed. However, I am glad to have found this hidden gem as a replacement.
The quality of the Indian food is excellent, especially the tandoori chicken tikka masala which has a unique and delicious flavor. It's definitely worth trying out for yourself.
I have been a customer at this restaurant for a while now and I have always enjoyed their food and delivery service. Last Sunday, I decided to order their special Sunday/Thursday banquet for £10. I have ordered this many times before and it is always worth it. However, this time they only allowed for pick up and not delivery. I asked about providing my card details for payment and they took the payment. When I arrived at the restaurant, I found it closed early. The next day, they informed me that my meal was waiting for me as they had cooked it on Monday to honor my booking from Sunday. I explained that I did not want the meal on Sunday and I was unable to pick it up due to various reasons. They informed me that they had taken the money on Monday and had already thrown the meal away. This experience was very disappointing and shocking.
I eat all over Newcastle and Food here is really good, Whenever I crave a Indian curry I call the New Eastend diner, Who never disappoint The food just always seems to be fresh, soft crispy nans, fluffy rice and soft tender chicken, I swear this place beats any Indian in Newcastle hands down! Well done boys, keep up the good work
**** beautiful once again. I have stayed with Eastend Diner for years and yes now and again I have tried other places and will always come back to the Eastend Diner. I wish they opened a restaurant. Other takeaways bragging restaurant standard dont come close. Well done to ALL at The Eastend Diner. 5 out of 5 everytime. Thank you.
