I always enjoy dining at this restaurant, especially their fish and chips, and I usually have a pint as well whenever I visit town on the weekends. Visited with a baptism of friends of carlisle had a reservation about 12 o'clock very busy eating and service was excellent thanks for a well-trained team
Beautiful pub in the center of newcastle with a great atmosphere and a really good selection of drinks. we didn't eat, but eating looked good. was served by a beautiful young girl called georgia, who had a nice inviting smile. will definitely return.
Came here on a whim and om glad I discovered this pub. What a lovely atmosphere and it feels like a wonderfully old school pub. I had the fish and chips, which were lovely and I'm not a fan of peas so didn't want them added to my meal. That was no issue for the staff and I even got an alternative mentioned. Will definitely be checking out this pub again soon.
If it wasn't for Beth or Shannon I'm not sure I'd keep coming here. Amazing staff and very welcoming.
