I would risk my life for a good curry and am very picky about which curry houses I now frequent. After hearing many good things about cafe spice from numerous locals, my boyfriend and I made a trip on a busy Saturday evening. Overall, I could not fault it! What K13R4N1490 doesn't like about Cafe Spice:
The food is good and the staff are friendly, but I have concerns about the adherence to health and safety regulations. I have to file a personal injury claim because the workplace is hazardous. The greasy floors were so slippery, likened to an ice rink by the delivery drivers, and there were no warning signs posted. It's unfortunate, as the overall restaurant is quite pleasant. What a fantastic evening at the Cafe Spice, 16 of us went there on Saturday night to celebrate Mark’s birthday and what a wonderful experience the owner Raf and his entire team gave us. The best menu and food ever with fantastic service from all of the staff, everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fantastic time. Thanks Raf
Lovely place with really nice people , tea was amazing and it's a very calming place to sit and relax with friends or on a date.
Fabulous. Very tasty food. Great service. Kingfisher on Tap. One of the best curries I’ve had in Newcastle. Will 100% be returning.
