We have eaten in some very fine establishments and very rarely does the owner make the rounds to make sure that everybody was enjoying there meal. A
This restaurant was lovely, though it was a bit on the expensive side. However, the food was made from fresh ingredients and prepared from scratch. I really enjoyed my meal! The croutons tasted just like soft garlic bread—delicious!
This restaurant is a solid choice in an area with limited dining options. Over the years, this location has undergone several name changes, but it truly deserves to thrive. Our server, Brittney, was excellent—very attentive and provided thorough explanations. We started with a fantastic deal on a glass of Pinot Grigio for my wife ($2.75), while I opted for a Manhattan ($9), which was decent. We shared the garlic knots appetizer ($5), and they were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli ($19), which she praised for its generous chunks of lobster. I tried the lasagna ($16), which was perfectly portioned and really flavorful. One downside was that no Italian bread was served, perhaps because we had the garlic knots, and there wasn’t a salad included with the meal either. If I had one complaint, it would be that the prices felt a bit steep. For dessert, we shared a delightful tiramisu that tasted homemade—definitely not your typical chain restaurant fare. One small issue was that our hotel provided a 10% off coupon for Nonni's, but it turned out it was only valid for one entrée, leaving us with a measly $1.90 off a $60 bill, which felt a bit disappointing. Overall, Nonni's is an attractive establishment that seems well-managed, and we had an enjoyable experience!
We waited 25 minutes just for our appetizers, and when they finally arrived, my meatballs were raw. When I inquired about the delay, I was told the kitchen was understaffed. Two of my family members ordered tiramisu, which turned out to be more like Boston cream pie. When I brought this up, the waitress, Erin M., still charged me for it. I had to get another server, who handled everything correctly and made it right. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. It was an unhappy Father’s Day for me, and I'm disappointed. Jasper
