Stunning view of the Hudson River and Bridge and Marina. A friend who is a member of Newburgh Yacht Club needed a hand cleaning his boat. He gave me a quick tour before assisting him and his friend with washing/cleaning his Yacht! Yeehaw! Yeehaw!? View all feedback.
What 939russm doesn't like about Newburgh Yacht Club:
The guy sitting next to me at the bar paid $3 less for each beer than me and it was the same exact beer. I complained about it and they didn't care. They will never see me again. Oh, by the way, the food was great! View all feedback.
Awful Marina very old and dirty with tons of wood in lots of wood in the slips I would never bring my boat near this

Not reviewing the marina but the bridge and the track close by, the view of the bridge from the air is outstanding
Haven't been to Pamelas for over a year. She reopened this week after upgrades to staff decor. Food was terrific (try the rosemary shrimp app) and the wait staff and bartender were all super friendly. The feel is elegant and relaxing. The views of the Hudson and Beacon bridge outside the window are tough to beat. You definitely need to check it out (they even do Sunday brunch).
Before I start, I am not one of those people who find fault over every little thing or even write a review on a restaurant. But there is a first for everything. We stopped in last minute for dinner on our way home. I have heard some not so great things about the place, but figured I would see for myself. We were sat immediately and the staff were very nice. Drinks were good, the appetizer was good, but when it came to the dinner, that's when things went down hill. My partner ordered pasta with shrimp and I ordered a hamburger fries. His meal came out and the waiter apologized and said my meal wasn't ready because the kitchen was backed up. I looked around and noticed there were quite a few empty tables around, how could they be backed up? I waited and waited and finally asked the manager (the hostess) where my food was and explained how this was unacceptable. After my partner was finished eating his meal, my burger finally came out. Needless to say, it was luke warm and they gave me 4 french fies that were ice cold and hard. Yes, that's right, FOUR french fries, Are you effin kidding me????? I told the waiter to take the meal and take it off the bill. I felt bad for the waiter, because it wasn't his fault I let him know that several times. The chef is disorganized and should be fired immediately, they are understaffed and there was no management present. In the end they comped the whole bill which was very nice and not necessary. A few things to note. It was a beautiful Saturday night with a gorgeous view of the river overlooking the marina, why wasn't this place packed like other restaurants at the river??? That should have been the first red flag. The bar should have been packed and people lined out the door to get in on a night like tonight. The decor was absolutely horrible!!! Salmon walls with brown carpet, a busted up dance floor in the middle of the room, a nasty brown couch from the eighties shoved next to the bar (who is going to sit on that)? and looked like an overflow of decor from Home Goods. This place needs a complete overhaul and attention to detail if they want to charge the prices they are charging. If you are the owner and you are reading this, I hope you realize that you have a complete diamond in the rough, but you need to start investing your time and resources into your establishment or you may soon find yourself out of business. Show up, be present, look for ways to make other's day great, be of service, serve great quality!!!!
