IHOP - Newburgh
IHOP
Description
At a recent visit to IHOP, experiences were notably mixed. While some diners praised the service, particularly highlighting a friendly waiter named Kenneth, others faced frustrating delays and unresolved issues. Complaints included incomplete orders, poor food quality, and rude staff interactions, particularly with a waitress named Ariel. Dishes like burnt hash browns and dry pancakes marred the dining experience for some, overshadowing the few positive remarks about timely service and decent food. Overall, while the atmosphere remains appealing and some dishes impress, inconsistent service and food quality present significant challenges, leaving patrons divided in their satisfaction.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Colorado Omelette, which never fails to impress with its perfect combination of ingredients and a touch of spiciness from the salsa. I also added some sour cream for an extra burst of flavor. Give it a try!
The toast was served with strawberry syrup on the bottom, even though I did not order anything with strawberry. It seemed like the toast was reused from someone else's plate. The crispy potatoes I ordered turned out to be burnt and uneatable hash browns. The eggs had an excessive amount of cheese on them, overpowering the taste of the egg. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal and will not be ordering from IHOP again.
I only ordered a strawberry milkshake because my delivery driver informed me that they were unable to make the Oreo milkshake I wanted. When my food arrived, I realized that I had only received the Original Buttermilk Pancakes (Short Stack) instead of both the Short Stack and the Full Stack that I had ordered and paid for. Additionally, I did not receive the syrup I had selected with my order. The hash browns were cold and had an odd taste, and the Original Buttermilk Pancakes (Short Stack) were dry and lacking syrup. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The only positive aspect was my delivery driver.

The food is decent, but they often forget to pack items you 've ordered on a mobile order (Even though there is a receipt showing every item ordered), which results in you having to spend more time, money and energy to do a second pick up, for things that should 've been included in the first run. This happened on two separate occasions. Also, the one time we did want an issue on their end rectified, the manager Miracle did nothing to resolve it, except offering me to spend (more) money, by time dining-in, just to receive a 'complimentary stack '. What a great resolution model! The food is decent, but decent food and lackluster customer service, especially for your own mistakes; is enough reason for me to spend my money where it 's valued. You can honestly go to any diner and get the same quality of food.
