I discovered this pub during a short bike tour right after the first lockdown, and I was quite impressed. Now, after coming back with my wife, I can say it's just as good as I remembered. It has a lovely location, delicious food, and excellent service. While it may not be the trendiest spot these days, it's definitely worth a visit! View all feedback.

Overall, the dining experience was average in terms of food, service, and atmosphere, but there are plenty of free parking spaces available.
Excellent eating and varied selection at ales. beautiful staff- helpful, friendly and efficient.
Great real ales, lots of seating inside and outside. Friendly staff and good customer service. I'm a chef by trade and I had the steak and ale pie which was very nice, salted caramel cheesecake was delicious. My husband had the Little Piggy platter and the meats were overcooked, wouldn't order that again. We will return and try some other dishes.
Fantastic pub in a beautiful setting, lovely beer garden, plenty of seating inside and out. Spotlessly clean restaurant, great food and excellent service. The staff were very friendly and efficient, well done to all the cleaners, waiters, bar staff, and those working in the kitchen, keep up the great work. The Fox is our favourite pub and we look forward to our next visit here
