This is a lovely pub with a friendly, welcoming staff and a great local vibe! They offer excellent beer and food. It's dog-friendly, featuring a lovely beer garden and outdoor space. We came to the white lion for a pint with the locals and we're definitely not disappointed! Be aware that in winter, no food it served, but the beer is cold (yes, in the UK! and the prices are good. This pub is clean and newly renovated, and the company and conversation are friendly and full of local knowledge.
This is a lovely, friendly local pub. I would have enjoyed lunch here, but the winter menu was quite limited. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
