Touro Manso - Newark

Last week was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the courteous service, with the superb food and booze and with the decent charge. We will absolutely come back soon.

Churrascaria Touro Manso is a newly opened Brazilian meat skewer restaurant, specializing in the art of churrasco. In addition, they offer a lunch buffet with various trays of typical dishes, rice and beans, and of course farofa. Cooked on long skewers over a coal-fire, and perfect for sharing, they offer a plethora of choices such as steak, chicken, linguica (sausage), queijo coalho, and more. What makes this churrascaria different than other spots in Newark is that you can buy the skewers individually, each around $3 each, rather than opting in for an all-you-can-eat buffet or by the pound. There is a spicy malagueta pepper and biquinho sauce offered as well as farofa by the buffet to pair with their delicious meats.

The meals and service were ahead of our expectations. I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere of this spot. Fantastic place to take the family out for lunch.

Tried this place in the past with my friend and I am hooked since then. I enjoy the great vibes and tasty food and drinks. Fantastic work.
