Sushi House 21 - Newark

I ordered grubhub delivery from here because they had good reviews. I seriously am in disbelief how this place has 4.5 stars. I'm more upset with the people who gave it good reviews than I am with the actual restaurant. Have these people never eaten good sushi? I had 2 rolls plus salmon and tuna nigiri and honestly it may have been the worst sushi I've ever eaten. It was worse than grocery store sushi. The rice was dry and hard. The fish wasn't great quality. Definitely won't be giving this place a 2nd chance.

This is the worst sushi place I've ever been to you need a microscope to see the Salman in the already small sushi roll and the flavor there is non try asking for sauce for the flavorless morsels they want to ask you for a dollar ill never go there again

Ordered 5 total specialty rolls. Sushi was okay, i thought it was overpriced for the portion size.

Delicious but very very overpriced! For the price of 12 sushi, you can go to a quality all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. However, if you're in the Ironbound and can't travel far, this place is the monopoly for sushi, and it's delicious. I give my highest compliments to the chefs with the Dragon Rolls.

I always order from this place and to this day I have always enjoyed it. Today I ordered an order. Inside the spicy mayo there was a small cockroach still alive.. I will never eat from this place again
