Even when I set it to the lowest temperature o... read more The air conditioning is one of the biggest problems. I often have to call to switch rooms because it gets so hot. Even when I set it to the lowest temperature of 66 degrees and run the fan on high, the room temperature remains at 73 degrees—way too warm! The bed is incredibly uncomfortable and feels cheap. Additionally, the shower doesn't get very hot; it barely reaches a warm temperature. To make matters worse, late at night, I started to smell a foul odor coming from Dumbarton Bridge—an awful, sewer-like smell that infiltrated the room. I'm not sure if it was more pronounced this time because I had a room facing the water, but it was truly disgusting and kept me awake for all three nights of my stay. This was the final straw for me. While the hotel has nice decor, there are too many flaws that I simply can't overlook. Good luck if you decide to stay here.

After placing my order, they vanished for 20 minutes only to return and inform me they were out of the ingredients I wanted. They also seemed unfamiliar with the contents of the dishes, so if you have allergies, don't expect any helpful answers. I wouldn’t recommend this place; it's better to just get in your car and drive five minutes to a decent restaurant nearby. However, if you're extremely tired and don't want to go out or are looking for room service, the food is acceptable.

The fi... read more Not real impressed with this place. Seems like it was a nice hotel when it first opened but has been poorly managed for quite a while and not maintained. The first room they put me in had ants in and next to the bed. Not just a couple but a lot. The second room smelled like stale smoke and cheap cleanser (and I do NOT have a very sensitive nose . The third was better so I stayed there. : The food at the restaurant is actually decent, and I'd call this a bright spot for sure. But I will say the tables and restaurant/bar floor don't feel clean. Seems like nice people work here that don't have good leadership, training or accountability.
