Newark Cafe
Newark Cafe
Description
At this Asian buffet, diners experience a mixed bag of service and food quality. While friendly staff members enhance the family atmosphere, reports of rude treatment from some employees highlight concerning inconsistencies. The buffet boasts a variety of offerings, from sushi to dim sum, but patrons note that certain dishes, like Korean beef and pizza, lack freshness or adequate seasoning. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant provides a decent selection of desserts, and its affordability makes it appealing. Overall, it presents itself as a casual place for buffet dining, though improvements in food quality and service are needed for a more satisfying experience.

Feedback
The buffet was great. They have a good variety of seafood dishes. The price was reasonable!
Service: The waitress was nice and helpful, but the Sushi (Chinese) guy was rude. When a Chinese-looking customer walked by and asked for sashimi in Chinese, the guy gave it to him on a plate. When I asked if they served sashimi, he responded rudely with only dinner. This clear discrimination occurred during lunch. Kid-friendliness: The waitress was friendly with our child.
Typical Chinese buffet with wide variety of choices from sushi, maki, seafood to salads, dimsum desserts. Price is reasonable.Update: 9/2/2022Price has gone up due to higher minimum wage and inflation. Spent $70 for two with drinks.
