Blueberry Cafe - Newark

I had breakfast and a few lunches in front of location. each visitor staff was polite and answered my questions. that was delicious.

I'm all about paying for quality, but the price for eating here is high for a fast casual place without sitting inside. like other critikens have pointed out that they run here like an hour before closing out of eating, so I suggest they call before they are on this wise, especially if they are not close. the service is never friendly. their very short with them on the phone and personally. I appreciate the vegan option in otherwise what would be a food desert. there are literally no other options like these in this neighbourhood. so I didn't really think it was on the demographic in the neighbourhood, as all the dishes lead them up to $16. a smoothie and a few eats it costs easily $30. I was here a few times, last time I went to eat was embarrassing, I don't think I'll be back. updated by previous review on 2021-07-31

So the second time you come to this place. never again. why? good customer service is the key to any device and this location seems to be missing. especially with the chef, I went smiling and greeting her and I got a side look... anyway my name said he slams the bag on the theke and tells me my cost. not a thank you will not come back. I thought we'd give them another try and order. the eating that I ordered was the walnut tacos, very bland actually zero taste at all, the tacos dishes tasted old. not as crispy as you should be. I hope they improve or work on customer services because they are key players in an underserved community where food like these should have top priority there.

This is a decent place, but if I'm honest, it's over price, I've been planted for over 4 years; it is lacking in taste for the greatest part. the counting of “es more expensive b/c it is healthy” bears at this place thin. they are in the “hood”, so they would think the prices would be a lower to lure more people out of the neighboring, but no. I like the place, buuut it's kind of overrated tbh.

The food was amazing, had the kamut pasta with mushrooms. The mushrooms were TOO good. The staff was so nice and friendly too. Don’t live too far from Newark but it was my first time going here, it was during COVID so it was empty just pick up. Had a nice convo with the staff though.
