What Paul Durham doesn't like about The Tawny Owl:
Maybe the worst pub grub we have ever had.Service was quick and could not be faulted but the main course of Steak and Ale pie was awfull..tastless..how you can get pie chips and peas so wrong and the pub was not even busy for 5.00pm on a sat evening. Do yourself a favour and travel 20 mins down the A1 to The Farrier to see how its done.Deff will not be back. View all feedback. What Kylie L likes about The Tawny Owl:

The food was frozen and not enjoyable. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Ordering was simple and there were many options available on the menu. We didn't have to wait very long for our food to be served.
We had Lexi as our server and she was absolutely charming! She was incredibly devoted to ensuring the best experience for the customers.
Great pub with very good food. Very busy at the usual time. Prices are competitive and there is an extensive drinks menu.
Always a great place for a meal! Thank you Charlotte F
