Typical Wetherspoons providing decent quality drinks and food. This was very busy when we visited and we did not feel safe Covid wise as the place was crammed full, no spaces between tables etc. It also could do with a bit of a clean. We stayed in Newark a few days and due to the lack of social distance measure did not re visit. View all feedback.

read moreWetherspoons offers a mix of value and atmosphere, making it a popular choice for patrons. While many enjoy the prompt service and fresh food, some guests expressed disappointment over cleanliness, food shortages, and a lack of social distancing during busy hours. Although the outdoor seating promotes a vibrant ambiance, non-smoking sections would enhance comfort. Friendly staff consistently receive praise, even amidst occasional service hiccups. Despite its ups and downs, many patrons appreciate the affordability and variety, making it a solid option for casual dining in Newark-on-Trent. Overall, Wetherspoons remains a staple, even if not without flaws.
