Excellent afternoon tea booked by my daughter for a Mothers Day treat. What a treat it was. An array of sandwiches, scones and cakes and as much tea as we could drink. Lovely tea room with excellent food. The cakes were moist and delicious as was everything. They were so busy but that didn’t detract from the service or the food. We have visited this restaurant multiple times and it never fails to impress. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The prices are reasonable and it is definitely worth a visit.

Our experience at Ollerton is always a delight, and today's food and service were exceptional as always. While many places claim to offer home-cooked meals, Ellen and Kate Mettam truly deliver with their freshly made dishes and baked goods. Our salads were generously portioned and our desserts were amazing. The staff was friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ollerton and wish we lived closer! We booked for an afternoon tea yesterday and it was lovely. The beautifully fresh sandwiches came with a very nice side salad, and all of the little cakes and scones were delicious. Vey nice friendly service too. We had tried to get a table a couple of weeks earlier but it was fully booked, and we can see why! We will definitely try to visit here again when we are in the area. I think the lemon meringue pie will be next....
We were staying with friends and having a day out when we dropped in for tea, we hadn't booked but within 5 minutes we had a table by the window looking out over the mill gardens lovely. We had a cream tea 3 huge scones of different tastes loads of strawberry jam and thick double cream also pots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. All absolutely superb. The waitress was excellent (run off her feet) but well in control and very friendly, the behind the scenes ladies did a miraculous job dish washing, making up the orders and even finding time time to bake more scones. My only problem is that I live in Cyprus so can't get there more often but then again I would have to have more self control or I'd be like a rolly poly dumpling if I was there as often as I would like. Thank you lovely ladies for an afternoon I will remember forever.
