Such a lovely little spot! Drove past early Sunday morning on route to a family holiday and this place looked perfect! Everyone working there were super kind friendly and the food (breakfast) was yummy! (Coffee was fab too). Great prices, great service, great spot!...Thank you! View all feedback.
My son and I visited Newark on our way to Lincoln from Nottingham and had a look at the Castle (which is right across the road from Feeling Peckish before having a perfect Full English breakfast. Lots of options on the menu from standard breakfasts...to mega breakfasts... We went for the Big Breakfast' which was awesome. Service was friendly and pretty quick and the breakfast really was top notch with the perfectly cooked fried eggs. If I were being really picky my only comment would be that the sausages whilst nice did seem to be mass produced rather than a traditional hand-made butchers' sausage. As a butchers son this is something I noticed but many probably would not. Like I said just a small piece of constructive feedback that would make an awesome Star breakfast a super-awesome Star one. There are inside and outside seating options and the view across to the Castle gardens is pleasant. The home-made desserts in the chilling counter looked amazing and obviously vary regularly. In summary Feeling Peckish' is a great British Cafe that serves great food with a smile... Thank U We'll be back.
Sunday breakfast after a gorgeous stay in such a beautiful little town! Highly recommend this little restaurant. Gorgeous, fresh, quality ingredients and friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Will Definitely come back again!! Thank you!!
Service exceptional made to feel welcome. Food selection very good. Salmon and watercress fishcakes and steak and ale pie was superb. Not enough room for a sweet, took home some lemon cheese cake for my wife and myself I had Christmas pudding cake are both...worth trying. Atmosphere was homely and very clean Value for money and we will go back in the future.
On a rainy day, seeking shelter and a snack, we stumbled upon a pleasant and well-kept restaurant. We decided to order drinks and scones, which were served warm with butter and jam. We were pleased with both the quality of the food and the reasonable price.
We drove from Lincoln to a wonderful cafe for breakfast. If you're lucky, you can park on the Main Street outside and enjoy a wide variety of breakfast options within the parking allowance. The cafe is clean and well-organized, with an extensive menu and a range of specials. The food is delicious, with traditional options as well as vegan and vegetarian choices. The friendly atmosphere created by the local staff and regular customers chatting happily adds to the warmth of the environment. This is the second Wednesday we've made the drive from Lincoln for a late breakfast, and we highly recommend this charming gem of a cafe.
