Food taste is consistent, you'd be surprised to find out there are Chinese restaurants where the food doesn't have flavor, thankfully this place isn't like that at all. Quick and View all feedback.
What Cynthia Miller doesn't like about No. 1 Chinese:
This place ok I ordered chicken egg foo young and chicken and broccoli both were super dry no gravy at all for the egg foo young. It was edible. Probably won't order from there again. I like gravy and sauce to eat with my rice. I wouldn't recommend this one. View all feedback.
I want to start by saying I love this place- it’s a family favorite in my house. Today’s experience has gone above and beyond. I am so thankful and appreciative of the service that I was given today. I wasn’t feeling too well today and slacked on ordering dinner for the family. We decided on Chinese at 9pm. Knowing they closed at 9:30pm I gave it a shot and called. They said they would gladly be able to make our meal but asked if we could be there by the time that they close at 9:30. Living only 5 mins down the road I assured them I would be there in time. Little did I know we would get into a car accident. After calling 911, I called to make them aware of the situation. They offered to hang around until 10pm. As we waited for the cop to finish, it was about 5 til, so I called the restaurant to pay over the phone and asked if they could just set the food outside for us because I didn’t want them to have to wait any longer. As we pulled up there at 10:05pm, they were waiting outside for us and immediately asked if we were okay. I apologized and thanked them for checking in and waiting for us. I wanted everyone to know how great they were. Getting back in the car I began to get teary eyed because I couldn’t believe how kind they were and how the first thing they asked is if we were all okay. They will forever have my business! Thank you guys again so much for your great service!

Only 2 out of the 5 things I got from this restaurant tonight were edible. Within half a hour I was vomiting. The teriyaki beef tasted bland, unseasoned and pretty soggy I took 1 bite and gagged. The wonton soup had 0 flavor the soup is was I was looking forward to). The sweat and sour sauce tasted very old and smelled like liquor I got this for my 4 year old). The only thing that was okay was the crab wantons and bbq pork and even that was overly saturated in bbq sauce which made it hard to even try to eat. I’ll be looking for a refund.
Been coming here since the early 90's. It is what it is. All these 1 star reviews on here are laughable. Imagine expecting world class service from a Chinese takeout place. Yes, the food is greasy. Yes the staff can be curt. Keep doing your thing, #1!You get what you pay for.
Not terrible but not great either. Food was quite bland but it was affordable. Probably wouldn’t order again.
