My Tho Restaurant - Newark

Eating is great, but one lasts. make sure they repeat their order to the waiting staff.

The worst experience of all time. I will never go to this place again. there is a man who is always the main server for this restaurant. he ignores the people, he sees you obviously standing and waits to stay and he won't even recognize you. this happened one day again, so my husband and I were sitting on a table waiting for him when he was flying around. he came back an angry begged us to move to a stand that had dishes from a previous customer, he took the dishes in a hurry, threw 2 menus on the dirty table, yes, that is right that he had the menus on the table. it wasn't even the effort to clean the table. at this point we just got up and left. they never want a business, especially a restaurant that doesn't value its customers. if they can treat a customer to this wise, who knows what others would compromise them in their business. I will never return to this place. I don't usually write cripples, but I just had to write this because we were treated terrible and totally unacceptable. there are many other great Vietnamese restaurants that know who appreciate their customers.

We order banh mi today. it's good. pho is much better here.

They don’t pay attention to the walk-in customers, until you yelled at them. I have ordered one crispy noodle with chicken, one duck rice soup noodle and a red bean with coconut milk. The chicken crispy noodle, I hardly found pieces of chicken; and the duck soup noodle, duck are very salty but match with tasteless soup. And my drink never come. We understand during the post pandemic period, they are difficult or just not both to hire more staff, but the waiter always ignore us. They provided you water and come with straws, but not give the straw to you. When I asked for extra dish and bowl, they brought you bowl but no dish . Horrible service. Not recommend to this restaurant.

I really love numbers 52 with fried rice and then very nice customer service.
