I visited this restaurant because I was intrigued by the ochre shell. Unfortunately, it was Sunday, and they serve brunch all day. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I visited a charming little restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by greenery and blooming flowers in the decor. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. I would definitely return several times! View all feedback.
Lovely restaurant design with great outdoor seating. The fried chix and waffles are delicious and love the collards and mac. Great for brunch.
The food and atmosphere here was great, just more expensive than I thought it would be. Great offerings on the menu, and an amazing staff.
I came here for the oxtail dish. Unfortunately it was Sunday and it is all day brunch. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. I chose the steak and omelette with roasted potatoes dish and as side sautéed greens. The food was super tasty, very well spiced up, flavourful and good portion. The greens were totally my favourite. So simple so good! I had a soursop drink with it and it was good and refreshing The only reason I can’t give 5* is that it seems bit over priced, the meats and “egg” are not made in house and $8 for side of greens is a lot
The family went for lunch so we only had access to the brunch menu but was awesome. I had the Bob Marley Rasta pasta, loved it. One son had the nyc burger, liked it a lot especially the DMX sauce. My wife had the sides of Mac n cheese and collard green, both super super tasty. Best collards I’ve ever had. My other son had the quinoa and greens which was tasty after mixing because all the sauce was at the bottom. Staff super nice
We went on a Sunday for brunch and we were delighted. One of their signature dishes, the 'Kingdome Chicx 'n Waffle ' with no chicken, was absolutely delicious, and their specialty 'Veggie Gumbo ' too. We accompanied it with a refreshing homemade lemonade, and for dessert 'Golden Oreo Vanilla Pudding ' although it was too sweet for us. Great comfort food!!
