4 for experience and 3 for food. The tasting menu experience is great-I love the cozy intimate atmosphere and the hosts are gregarious. The food itself is a good, not great. I would classify it as a budget tasting menu experience .

I had really high expectations for the dinner party that was described. I thought it 'd be engaging, intimate, and I was excited that vegetarian options were offered for each course. I was however thoroughly disappointed. While I appreciated the sommelier 's expertise, we didn 't have too much engagement and sometimes our wine was poured and described by our server and the sommelier came afterwards for a minute or 2 to also describe the wine. That 's all fine, but it wasn 't the experience I had imagined; I 've had more small conversation and engagement with servers at a normal restaurant dinner. Furthermore the vegetarian options were abysmal. The appetizer was just cheese, crackers, olives, and some thick jam and none of it was good or worthy of a tasting menu. The salad we got was the same salad as the non vegetarian option without the meat however that left the salad with literally just cabbage doused in some bitter dressing. The entree 's meat substitution was mushrooms and it was just very unexciting; beans, potatoes, and mushrooms? The meat substitution wasn 't picked thoughtfully. They should have different dishes or at least thoughtfully curated vegetarian options to compare to the non vegetarian options if we 're paying just as much and expecting good food. The dessert was delicious and the only part of the meal I enjoyed. Additionally, after paying per person, I 'm not sure why the courses were brought out in 1 plate to share between 2 people. After much anticipation, I sadly will not be recommending this experience to anyone.

Beautiful little space with very kind staff and the most extensive wine list I've ever seen. Now, I don't know s about wine, but I still had a nice time here. We got the escargot and a charcuterie board alongside our glasses of the daily red and white wines. I wish I could take a bath in the escargot butter.
Love the community/dinner party vibe here at niche niche. went for italian week and some winemakers from South Africa were also there we had their wine for dinner and they went around the room speaking to everyone.the atmosphere was absolutely lovely and the wine was great. portion size for the food could be a little larger.the absolute highlight of the night was our server however, who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. would strongly recommend lots of value in coming back again too as the menu/wine pairings change so frequently.
