Looking for somewhere to rest just off 5th avenue and nr Grand Central Station we came across this coffee food outlet. I still can’t pronounce the name, but it was a lovely venue and the staff were friendly and helpful. We only had coffee and didn’t eat from the menu, but it was popular with others on a Sunday afternoon and I’d like to return when in the city again.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors were wide enough... le pain quotidien (lpq) is a chain that offers healthy products, with sufficient vegan items, it is a clean setting, ideal for a relaxed meal. Today I had a (vegan) old corn dish. this special dig is up to the earth attractiv, with two sittings - including a community table and separate tables. View all feedback.

Le Pain Quotidien (LPQ) is a chain that offers healthy products, with sufficient vegan products, it is a clean setting, ideal for a relaxed meal. Today I had a (vegan) old grain dish. This special branch is attractive to the earth, with two seats - including a common table and separate tables.
We were seated by a very pleasant young man who brought us menus and water. It was 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon and not very crowded. When we signaled the two servers, (one of them had seated us) who were standing nearby talking to each other, that we were ready to order, they looked right through us. Then we waited and watched while 3 other tables of individuals, who had all been seated after us, had their orders taken by the young man who had seated us. So after about 10 minutes total with no one approaching our table, we got up and left. Don’t seat people if you have no intention of serving them.
Food was good but quite expensive. It is suggested only for people who needs to spend there a few hours and leverage the good location. People serving at the counter were very professional and nice. Disappointment instead from the one of the waiter. With the place quite empty he asked my wife and I to change our place from a 4 pp table and to move into another area. Right after a girl alone sit there and he did not say a word.
Edit: Added one star because the food was delicious. I know, I know, this is NYC, but this was the worst experience I had there. Waited forever to be seated, then waited some more to get someone to take our order. Our order was actually ready fairly quickly but stayed on the kitchen shelf for about 30 mins. I asked several times if I could actually just take my own food since the waiter was nowhere to be found. Icing on the cake, they added items on the bill that they didn't serve. The food was, indeed, delicious, but not delicious enough to go through this painful experience.
