Go Zen - New York City

Sat with open mind and high hopes, but generally unimpressed nothing was bad, but nothing was great. knödel were good. fried reis was wet and not really like fried rice at all, Chinese sincean pad thai was meh. left uninspired.

We loved the vegan Asian cuisine here! all in our party, including the children, had great meals. the auberginestarter was wonderful. the “golden ball” was a fun to try for us. my curry nudelsuppe was spicy and very well done.

Go zen probably has one of the best pad thai I have ever tasted. the sesame court is also quite good. they can feel the quality of each schirrs. all the aromes are well balanced. her personal is very friendly. I never had a problem. I hope everyone thinks that English is not the first server to speak. for the amount of food, I think the prices are fairly fair especially in the opposite, about $13 per person. as they can see, I will be so excited about eating that I forget to make a picture before I start eating. updated by previous review on 2021-12-18

Although Go Zen is technically Asian Fusion they do serve heavily Chinese influenced dishes and these are my favorites. I love the Wonton Soup, Mango Soy Cutlets, Sesame Seitan, and Soy Cashew Sauté. They get their dessert cakes fresh from Vegan Treats which I absolutely adore. The staff are so friendly and the restaurant just has a cozy vibe. I love it!

This is a great Asian vegan restaurant with something for everyone. The vegan butter pecan ice cream was the perfect ending to a great lunch.
