Contribute FeedbackAt this vibrant West Village restaurant, brunch delights and disappointments mingle. While the food garners praise for flavors, like the vegan margherita pizza and impressive family-style dishes, service issues mar the experience. Guests report feeling rushed, with unclear time limits and pressure to leave before enjoying their meals. Cocktails and accompaniments receive mixed reviews, with some claiming watered-down drinks while others revel in delicious cocktails. Despite its lively atmosphere and decent food, the inconsistencies in service and ambiance diminish the appeal for some patrons, making it a place of mixed recommendations for future visits.
Great to find that this historic west village at night has a vegan menu and delicious wood fired many baked vegan pizza with numu cheese. the cheese is made before site by animal rights activists and is very tasty. I had the arugula pizza with cherry tomatoes and a tangy lemon. it was so delicious that I could eat the whole pizza, but for the luck I had my container to go so that I could have the rest to the breakfast and thank jill carnegie and her partner for making this wonderful cheese. the Broccoli rave is also a beautiful next-court. they also have vegan wine. it is nice to have this vegan option so close to the washington square park and the bitter end.
Beautiful ambiente. separate vegan menu that was ideal for eating with omnivores. pizza with numu cheese was wonderful!
This place wowed me. The front bar was a nice place to grab a drink. We then moved back to sit and eat. We went with family style. Holy moly, every dish was amazing. We started with beautifully seasoned wings, saucy meatballs, marghrita pizza and the meat and cheese platter. Next course was a ceasar salad which was fresh and delicious. For the mains we had roasted chicken, salmon and a pasta dish. All were cooked perfect and were very flavorful. The service was alsospectacular. Highly recommend this place for an amazing night with friends or family.
Cool bar with pretty good food. It was easy to get a table for Brunch on a Sunday with no reservation.
I usually dont say this about any restaurant in a review, but its CRIMINAL that this place doesn't have a unanimous 5 star review. Everything from the minimalist but swanky spreak easy decor to the most amazing homemade Italian I have ever had in NYC, this place is just an absolute gem of a find. Will def be back to try their other dishes and cocktails which were also ON POINT !! Edit : Went there a 2cd time, different group and everyone loved it. My only recommendation is to PLEASE add Chicken Parmasean to your menu. I know the kitchen would cook it to perfection !!!
