Just went for lunch today. Seafood with rice was fantastic, and the service was very friendly. Was a little too salty for me, but I almost always say that about restaurant food. Thank you! View all feedback.

Not the best seafood spot I’ve been to but definitely the worst , their fried fish has no unique flavors taste more like freezer food just the worst lack of sazon . They charge $70 for what tastes like frozen chewy lobster tails stuffed with Shrimp ! over the top with them prices for a recycled frozen lobster tail. I’ll stick with city island ?️ better and with the regular fish market spots like 116th st Lenox ave called sea sea fish market for fresh steamed Cajun lobster or east 149th street and 3rd ave called 149 steam fish best quality cooked fish for your monies worth ! However I’m not gona lie their soup and shrimp ? empanadas are a perfect 10 here ? street parking ?
Oh how I miss this place! I used to live on 188th and would stop here at least once a week for the grilled salmon steaks, with sides of yellow rice and sautéed mix vegetables. I'm only giving a 4 star because many times, the wait is very long, or many of the servers don't speak English and so they ignore you, or if you're not pushy and loud, other customers will come and order right over you and the cashiers will let them. BUT, the food is amazing. I now live in Georgia and miss it so much. No where makes the salmon as delicious as this place. I will be going home to NY for a visit in a few weeks, and this place will be my first stop!!!
Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Also seems like crack heads get a fix in the back. I walked in to get a fried red snapper and some shrimp on a stick, it was a movie first they have a shell chandelier that looks like it has dirt and dust from 1995 it's disgusting right over the food. While waiting for my order I saw a train of crack heads exit the facility one decided to stay and converse (more like bother) customers who were waiting to order, the staff just looked and stayed quiet. After that I got up and left I felt extremely uncomfortable and it was too ghetto and too dirty for me. Sorry but I used to go to this spot back in the day and I don't know what happened to it. Washington Heights is becoming the gutter you see as many crack heads as you see rats roaming the streets at all time of day. Definitely a hard pass.
Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews, this place deserves a zero. After an hour wait, I finally received my food, to my surprise the restaurant did not follow the instructions selected on the delivery app. In asking for a fried red snapper, I received a boiled snapper with pool of salty “gravy”. The smell was unpleasant, and the taste was disgusting. Prior to the review, I called the restaurant to ask, not for a refund but for my food to be redone and resent, Instead of an apology, I received reasons as to why I received the food the way it arrived, I patiently repeated myself again, even ask to speak to the chef, was giving more reasons and was told I would be charged to have my food redone. I’ll be calling my bank to void out this transaction not worth my $70.00.
