Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken

I had lunch at this restaurant after a disappointing experience at the Museum of Ice Cream, and it really turned our day around in NYC. While the staff wasn't overly friendly, the venue was clean and had nice booths to sit in, and the food was delicious. I ordered the two-piece chicken, which was excellent, and my son had the buffalo chicken burger, which he couldn't stop raving about, especially the sauce. I'm looking forward to the chance to visit again in the future.

The chicken was delicious, although the breast portion was a bit dry. It might have been slightly over-seasoned, but overall, it's a place I would return to. The fries were decent, but by the time I got to them, they were already a bit cold, as they serve very thin fries that are best enjoyed right away. I recommend opting for any piece other than the breast, as the other cuts were juicy and flavorful.

This place has not changed much since the last time I was here 8 years ago. I enjoyed the seasoning and flavors of their spicy fried chicken. I missed out on their habanero sauce because they were either out or no longer had it. Unfortunately the chicken tasted a bit old and overcooked but the fries were delicious. Nostalgic!Food: 3/5

The food exceeded my expectations, and the atmosphere was fantastic; it made us feel like we were at a carnival enjoying that type of cuisine, which was a wonderful experience. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to explore more of their interesting menu options! Food: 5/5

I ordered the Chicken Tenders via Grubhub and was nicely surprised that I received a text with up to minute tracking of my order. The French Fries were delicious. The Chicken tenders were very fresh and crispy. Just wish it had a little more flavor but definitely a Yummy meal?Food: 5/5
