Got the mac n cheese and the cookie with everything on it. The mac n cheese was nice (although some of the bacon was a bit burned) and the cookie with everything on top was delicious, but could 've had more of everything on top. The person at the counter was really nice and smiled a lot View all feedback.
What Randolf J doesn't like about Beatnic West Village:
I really wanted to love this place! Their street advertising focusing on mushroom dishes drew me in. Great concept, pleasing interior, menu looked super interesting and I ordered the magic mushroom salad for $13 tax which quickly arrived. While it looked appetizing, the food itself was a disappointment. A HUGE pile of lettuce was covered with drops of (tasty) mushrooms, Guacamole, etc but overall it was lacking in re... The guacamole burger is my favorite dish at this restaurant. I came here for lunch with a vegan friend, and the menu descriptions were so enticing that we decided to share a variety of dishes family-style to sample as much as we could. Everything was fantastic! I might even consider going vegan after this experience. Don't miss out on the fresh juice!
This location surpasses all the other Beatnic spots because the server is outstanding—she's incredibly patient and friendly. The woman with the lovely voice who was working on Saturday afternoon deserves to be recognized as the best employee! (I apologize for forgetting her name.) She was very helpful and took the time to check the food binder for the ingredient lists since I need to avoid refined sugar. Thanks to her, I now know that all the salads are free of added refined sugar, except for the burrata salad. In comparison, the Beatnic location in Seaport falls short. The guy there seemed lazy and didn’t even bother to find out which salads or appetizers contained added sugar.
This location beats all the other beatnic because the server is incredible, patient, and friendly. The woman with the sweet voice working on Saturday afternoon needs to be rewarded as best employee! (I forgot her name sorry) she was patient and checked the food binder for ingredients list as I need to avoid refined sugar. Thanks to her, i now know all salads are without refined added sugar except for the burrata salad. Compared to her, the Beatnic location in seaport sucks. The guy there just too lazy did not bother and said he doesn 't know for sure which salad or appetizer has sugar added.
Awesome Vegan food selection and great sides for the meal too. Definitely recommend the bowls if one is looking for a salad or vegan meal
Located in the former location of By Chloè, this is a good vegan option if you find yourself around the village. I personally didn’t like The Guac burger but loved the kale-cesar salad and the hot chicky.
