What User doesn't like about Whole Foods Market Manattan West:
I used to love Whole Foods, but I feel like they have gone downhill since being bought out. It is still easy to find and has a wide selection of products that I have started to explore. The produce is no longer coated in wax and I can trust the ingredients like I used to. View all feedback.
This pricey grocery store offers a wide range of vegan options, such as fresh produce, mock meats, and other plant-based alternatives. They also have a selection of ready-to-eat meals and restaurants located on the upper floor.
We tried the DIY hot and cold plates at this restaurant. I appreciated the variety of options available, especially the selection of vegetables. However, we were surprised by the cost as we didn't know the price per weight until we checked out. The food was delicious but on the pricey side.
I used to love Whole Foods, but I feel that they have really regressed since being bought out. It is still easy to find and has many options, but I have started to double-check that products are not coated in wax and read ingredients, which is something I used to trust them for.
I recently visited this restaurant and purchased some cookies and a nuts bar. This was not my first time purchasing mixed nuts, but this time I decided to mix four different types. When I approached the register, the employee named July informed me that they would charge me for the most expensive nuts in the container, which I found to be unfair as I had mostly macadamia nuts in my selection. Despite having other items like chocolate covered raisins and yogurt covered raisins, July insisted on charging me the higher price. I questioned her decision and expressed my disappointment in her attitude towards customers. I eventually left the nuts bar behind and walked away. It would have been appreciated if she had handled the situation with more empathy and professionalism. It's situations like these that make one prefer dealing with robots rather than unpleasant individuals. Overall, my experience was disappointing.
This new wholefoods store also has a food market. The checkout counters downstairs are much faster when it's busy. An elevator is located by the entrance on 10th Avenue. The busiest times are Sunday nights and Monday nights.
