We ordered the edamame and rock shrimp for our appetizers. For sushi, we chose 2 classic rolls including spicy blue fin tuna, crispy white fish roll, and Yuzu signature roll. Everything was delicious and satisfying. The service at this restaurant is outstanding, with the server asking us how hungry we were and recommending the perfect amount of rolls to share. The food and service at Yuba are always quite good. It is usually fairly quiet, too, and I appreciate that. This time, however, Yuba was rather noisy. It 's a fairly small restaurant, and two noisy tables made the whole restaurant energetic, to say the least. Too bad, as that level of noise made the whole dining experience less pleasant. Staff here is helpful and kind, prompt with food and requests. This low-key, quiet atmosphere with classic sushi options is perfect for an intimate date or a dinner with some close friends. Spied a mother and toddler enjoying and early dinner here, so this place can also be good for a small family dinner, too. Enjoyed the softshell crab very much.
Very fresh sushi. I’ve been here more than a few times and it has been consistent with the food and service. I got the two rolls that comes with the soup or salad for 10 dollars. Definitely one of my favorite go to sushi spots in the area that I work because of the quality. I definitely recommend this place
Very good food and very attentive staff. Came here with a friend without a reservation and the host was very accommodating. I especially enjoyed the sushi and although are many sushi restaurants in the city, some stand out (this one).
We’ve had delicious dinner, California Uni was amazing and huge. Chef even gave us “happy new year” two free pieces of truffle salmon sushi. We’ll be back for omakase.
The experience was excellent! The food was straightforward yet scrumptious and prepared with fresh ingredients. The service was fast and the waiter was attentive, courteous, and well-informed. I will definitely be returning for another visit!
