Really delicious food in a nice cozy place. I love this place especially because how old and old it feels. And it is fun to see pictures on the wall that relate to stories, such as ban and so on. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and prices are very reasonable. My steak, potatoes and salad cost me $20. I came here with a friend and we spent under $40. I can wait?t to come back here!!!
The service is quick and delivers in quality. I got the wings as my meal and the were crispy, hot, and huge! Came with a good amount of celery and carrots. My husband was happy with his fish and chips. The cider beer on tap was the best I've had and the bathrooms were clean! Great little place with history.
We were so happy to find this restaurant during our recent visit to Battery Park in NYC. If you want a nice lunch of comfort food, this is the place. In addition to good food, the wait staff is excellent. They are super-friendly and very attentive. If we are ever back in the area, we?d certainly return here for a meal.
