For a classic Upper East Side experience, Vivolo offers polished service, a great menu, and reasonable prices that have kept customers coming back since the 1970s. They cater to large parties and treat everyone like family. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit with excellent food and service. And for a reliable and consistent choice in NYC, look no further than the 74th and Lexington for an excellent dining experience that even the Pope and Governor have enjoyed.
We live in Atlanta, Ga and visit New York City about 3 times a year to see our two daughters. We always eat at the 74th and Lexington when we come to New York. It's our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, service is excellent and the value is great. Not cheap, but according to NY standards also not high. Good for every occasion. If they can serve the Pope and the governor, they will be great for you. Can not recommend high enough.
Great neighborhood find good food, good menu choice for three course fixed price lunch. Quiet, you can enjoy entertainment. Very attentive waiting staff. Bathroom on the 1st floor.
The price fixed menu at $30 was an excellent value. Includes appetizer, entree and dessert. Must order by 6:30 pm. Everything was very good except for the lasagna and the eggplant parm. So much thick cheese on top that was hardly even melted. I would still recommend this restaurant.
Vivolo has been serving Upper East Siders for many decades, and the fact that it is always crowded speaks to its quality. Whether in wood-paneled downstairs or the lovely upstairs, you'll get polished service, an attractive menu and prices that are reasonable. We've been going to Vivolo's since the 1970s and hope it never changes and never closes.
Lovely restaurant with good food and professional staff; congenial host MaryS
