Our experience did not match what we saw on OpenTable. We had assumed the penthouse was available, but it actually was closed for a private event, and this wasn’t updated on OpenTable. Additionally, the extensive menu we had viewed online was completely different from the limited options presented to us at the restaurant. This restaurant really needs help! Our server was very inexperienced and had the nerve to say that he was bored when we asked why he didn't check on us, i.e. you need more water? How your food? The server even brought our dessert without knowing what it was when we asked him. I think management must do a better job in training better servers to serve customers and not just sit on the couches when customers are present. The food was great and plentiful! We had the chicken sandwich and the sweet potato salad.
The rooftop was closed without notice. The music was loud and bad. We couldn't even listen to the person sitting next to us. The hostess was kind and tried to accommodate us upstairs. We left.
Don't remember the service being spectacular. However, the live music made up for it. Awesome place for it!
Cute place. live jazz band was good. the cocktails were grossly over priced and the food was mediocre at best. good place for music but not for dinner and drinks.
My appetizer was served separately from those of my dining companions, and two of us received cold dishes. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, he seemed surprised and asked—rather curtly—if I wanted to send it back. I confirmed that I did, and when he inquired if I wanted the same dish reheated or a new meal, I opted for a new one. However, when my plate arrived, it included the same cold sides with a reheated steak. At that point, I decided to just let it go.
