Was Yushi H at Storico a mag?
It was Sunday brunch hour, and the restaurant was not crowded, so we were a bit worried at first, but soon the worry went away, as the wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and the pasta dishes we ordered were really good. I have been going to Storico since it opened some years back, and it has gone through multiple changes over time, and some of those changes were not so great at times, to be honest, and that... What Shannon Hahn dislikes about Storico:
We were attending an evening lecture at the NY Historical Society, so Storico could not have been more convenient. Unfortunately, our waitress was not familiar with the cocktail menu; after several misunderstandings each resulting with the wrong order, the bartender personally came to our table to finally rectify the situation. The food is excellent, but the portions are quite small. Unless you are at a table along t... View all feedback.
The food was affordable and the drinks were perfect! I attended for a friend's birthday dinner. We all had a great time.
This was my first visit to the restaurant with my friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was peaceful and spacious, a true oasis in the bustling city. The service was satisfactory, although our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu when we asked questions. Despite this, we will definitely be returning in the future.
6 of us went to Brunch after a docent tour. I was expecting a museum cafe and wound up having a delightful meal in a charming restaurant. Every person I interacted with was warm and courteous. The manage came by at the end of the meal and asked about the meal. He carried on a pleasant conversation about NY Historical Society itself and their association with the institution. I can honestly say I had the best eggs Benedict ever. I'd be back in a heartbeat.
The food is amazing. Service need some attention. Definitely worth it! We will visit again!
I was blown away by this restaurant and I’m picky having worked front and back of house). The food is excellent, most of it farm to table style healthy and imaginative. The braised oxtail tagliatelle is great though pricey at $26, and I’d like tosee it elevated with a good pappardelle instead). The sticky toffee pudding is great it would want to be fur $14 that’ssteep, please make it bigger). The Autumn panazella $18) is lovely also a bit on the small side for the price, it should bedinner sized for vegetarians, and when the ingredients are not expensive, you can afford to be more generous this restaurantshould take a leaf from the “find out what people want and give them lots of it” school). Ask for the brilliant celery rootpurée side $9) with crackers as an appetizer. It’s luscious. The only drawback is the setting. It does close early 8pm) sothe lighting is more of a cafeteria like lunching lady setting. Drop the lights and bring in candles and get on the Seated appfor more traffic at night. It was oddly empty on a Friday night when a place with this quality of food despite the prices should be full.
