Contribute FeedbackSarabeth's restaurant in New York City garners mixed reviews from diners, ranging from outstanding to disappointing. Some guests rave about the delicious French onion soup and the cozy ambiance, while others express frustration over slow service and overseasoned food. Inconsistent experiences, such as receiving appetizers with the main course and encountering dry elk meat, have led some customers to reconsider future visits. Despite some shortcomings, the attentive staff and delectable dishes like the raspberry Casamigos cocktail and fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes leave a positive impression on many patrons. Dining at Sarabeth's seems to be a hit or miss, with some guests vowing to return while others swear never to set foot in the restaurant again.
The breakfast is broken off. popover were heated again. coffee is lukewarm. x benedikt over cooked eggs not real Hollandaise sauce. English muffins were bland. everything all around disappointing.
Terrible service that has no coordination and rude hostess.
Beautiful ambiente and they surprised us with a complementary cake and candle as it was the birthday of my father!
Excellent service, food ambiance for our 27th wedding anniversary
Food excellent. Creative selections, and plenty of them to chose from. Service, however, was poor. Asked for tea with honey; by the time I asked the third time and got honey, the tea was cold. Second cup of tea was lukewarm at best, so tea never really brewed it was lukewarm liquid with little flavor. Third time was the charm nice hot tea. Several times server tried to refill iced tea glass, despite being told we didn't want any more. Server responsible for refilling water glasses was wonderful attentive, refilled glasses every time glasses were half empty.
