Love Root and Bone. The food is fantastic and cooked to perfection. The libations are just as amazing as the food, and the service is impeccable. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will be coming back again. View all feedback.
What Evans G dislikes about Root & Bone:
Really had hoped for better. Fried oysters were mediocre, maybe even slightly off . The fried chicken was cold to lukewarm (as was our neighbors). The lobster in the boil was extremely tough. Pretty much everything was lacking any flavor or character. The best thing we had were the biscuits, which were amazing. View all feedback.
Eating was amazing! service was great. the staff is very friendly and attentive.
This restaurant was fantastic! Everything we tried was amazing. We loved the Mac and cheese and pecan waffles. The Mac was creamy and the waffles were light. The honey butter was the perfect touch. I ordered the Bourbon-Lemonade and it was perfectly balanced between sweet and bourbon. I also enjoyed the shrimp. They were the best shrimp dish I've ever had, with a smooth consistency and just the right amount of cheese. The sauce was so delicious, I could have drank it. I just wished the shrimp had been cooked a little longer. My friend had the chicken bites and they were also delicious. The lime cake was a must-try! The cookie sampler was okay, but the chocolate chip cookie was definitely the standout. Next time, we'll just ask for three chocolate chip cookies. Our server, Nani, was fantastic even though they were a little rushed due to being busy. We still had an amazing time. The atmosphere was charming and quaint. I will definitely be returning many times.
This restaurant is cozy with a fantastic atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Our dining experience at the restaurant was fantastic. Although I had been there before, I was excited to try the Low Country boil after reading about it. I took the lead in ordering for my friends who were new to the restaurant. We started with fried oysters, shrimp salad special, and deviled eggs. The oysters were crispy and delicious, and my friends really enjoyed them. The shrimp salad was tasty, although it was a bit too heavy on the mayonnaise for my liking. The deviled eggs, colored with beet juice, were a delicious treat. I couldn't decide on just one entree, so I ended up ordering both the Low Country Boil and the Short Rib Meatloaf. The meatloaf was a bit dry this time, but still tasty. The Low Country Boil was flavorful, with a delicious broth for dipping the grilled bread. It included a small lobster tail, shrimp, clams, potatoes, corn, and sausage. My friends also enjoyed their shrimp grits and fried chicken with waffles. The chicken was crispy and tasty. We ordered refreshing drinks like Planter's Punch and lemonade. Our waiter was excellent and made our experience even more enjoyable. Towards the end of our meal, the manager seemed a bit stressed as there was a small wait, but we were too caught up in our conversation and laughter to notice much. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
