I had thanksgiving dinner at Innside Brasserie on Thursday 11-23rd. It was a different experience than what I usually have at a restuarant. It was a creative dining and a different way to fix Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone need to visit and eat at Innside Brasserie. View all feedback.
What Angelita Raynor dislikes about Restaurant at The Innside:
Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience. View all feedback.
We happened on this restaurant while I was looking to make dinner reservations on Open Table. We went on the reviews. We were not disappointed. The service was great. We managed to show up during happy hour and got stuffed on the small plates menu. The lobster rolls and the tiny short rib tacos we really tasty. The cocktails were great, including their own take on a mojito. We enjoyed the experience.
As we arrived, we were very pleased with the look of the restaurant, located inside a hotel. We ordered an appetizer to share, two entrees, and a bottle of carbonated water. When our first appetizer came in, I took a bite of it and realized half-way through my bite that it contained meat. Since I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years at this point, I was very nauseated. Our waiter apologized and delivered the correct appetizer, which I had a hard time eating because of my nausea. The food was overpriced for what was delivered, and it's a spot I won't be returning to. Especially after I remarked that I was suprised to see the full price for the wrongly delivered appetizer and the nauseating experience I had from eating it—only to get a snarky comment back from the waiter, saying that he had indeed apologized. I was really quite irked at this, and won't be returning.
Nice quiet neighborhood place. Food is good but not special.
A local favorite for lunch. Great for clients although slow service can be frustrating.
Excellent for lunch. Friendly staff although can be spotty.
