What MarkP doesn't like about RARE Bar & Grill (Murray Hill):
food was delivered quickly, waiter was a bit overzealous, but I sensed he was new. The issue was that the AC was not on and it was downright uncomfortable. We would have stayed longer, (meaning more spent), but with no air circulation, it was not comfortable. View all feedback.
Good service. each of us ordered a burger and they were cooked to order. no problems.
I always enjoy this restaurant. this visit was on a quiet Wednesday night. everything came as ordered. many rests coming home.
Rarely has great burger! the portions are huge, so I often skip the bungalow or eat the half and take the other half to go. the pickles are also fantastic.
We both had the Jamison's burger with the shot. The burger was cooked perfectly. Service was great. My only issue arose after we left. I received an email from OpenTable inquiring why my party was a no show for the reservation. Well, because when we arrived and said we were there for our 6:30, then didn't bother checking. Bottom line I'll go back to Rare, but next I'm calling in the reservation. I'm done with using OpenTable.
Always enjoy visiting Rare Bar great staff, burgers and ribs are great topped with Apple pie for dessert.
