large chicken parm and cesaer salate and good famous chopped salate. decent steak and well cooked. much to wish with the meatballs, dry. would have gone back with a group and had a family dinner. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pietro's:
for such an expensive culinary experience they would expect that eating is unmatched. However, the chicken parmigiana was underwhelming, the chicken cacciatora was excessively fat and inconspicuous, and the carrots were extremely dry. I do not recommend spending money here. View all feedback.
What a great welcoming spot. Amazing food and service!!
It's a true New York restaurant. Been going there on and off forever and the food and service is consistently great. It's a must go... if you can get a reservation.
The food was good. A little over priced. The traditional caesar was very garlicy. Not enough parmesan cheese. The sword fish was so-so. A little too salty on the edge, but plain in the center. it's not very tender either. The service was TERRIBLE. The waiter was not nice at all. Also they are very rude, and almost kicked us out because my son screamed for 3 seconds. It was early and not that many people and we are on the deck area. Just very rude as waiting staff and management.
It was fine, but not as great as I guess I hoped and expected. Tired, I suppose. While eating solo at the bar was fun/crowded/lively, wines by the glass were extremely mediocre, and wines by the bottle are expensive with no vintage indicated; however, there was a noice selection of half bottles. Caesar salad was unbelievably over-dressed, which was sad, because the dressing was clearly home made to order. And the famous chicken parm tasted somehow stale, as did the Italian cheesecake.
Always fabulous! The ‘House Special Chicken’ is the best thing on the menu.
