Contribute FeedbackOverall, the reviews for the restaurant are mixed. Some customers enjoyed the drinks and food, particularly the burger and fish and chips, while others were disappointed with dishes like the pastrami short ribs and ruben sandwich. The ambiance and service received positive feedback, with one customer highlighting the cozy room and excellent selection of beers. Despite some inconsistencies in menu items, the restaurant seems to be a neighborhood favorite with unique cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere.
Despite having a confirmed reservation through OpenTable, the hostess informed me she did not have it. I showed her my mobile confirmation, but she told me not to worry about it. Later, I received a cancellation email from the restaurant and had to contact OpenTable for my points. The hostess clearly needs some training. The waitress was good, and the food was average bar food. I did enjoy the O'Brien's ale.
The service was very slow even though there were very few people. The prices were a bit high in some cases, and I don't think it's right that they include a 20% tip in the bill. Other restaurants give you the option to choose between 15-18 or 20%, but in this case, the 20% tip was not deserved.
I enjoyed my experience at this charming restaurant. I arrived early and was able to be seated right away on the second floor, with a lovely view of the street through the window. The seats were comfortable and the alcoholic drinks were unique. I highly recommend trying the French onion soup and burger, as they were delicious. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
Place was pretty electricCame there on a Friday night around 7, an ordered an espresso martini.
First and last time I will go to this Irish bar that actually went through the process of measuring a shot.
