The food was insanely good, everything is so light and delicious.It is rare to find a restaurant with great service in NY, but Madre is definitely one of those few places that truly makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. It was meant to be a special birthday dinner. The vibe and food were wonderful. We went for brunch so sadly they didn’t serve the soufflé…but I’m definitely planning to go back for dinner so I can order it! But other than that, all the food we ordered was yummy! Oh and the cornbread madeleines are a must order!
Loved our food, the only downside was the plates were not spaced properly bc they thought we were sharing everything, my wifes french toast took too long to come out bc of that but otherwise I highly recommend the tomato galette and the truffle croquetas… We would definitely come back and try again. I liked the green fairy cocktail it was refreshing and “grassy” flavored
This spot feels like a neighborhood spot but one that everyone should know about. The ceviche was freaking amazing and I loved the heat on it. The eggplant agnolotti was delishhhhhhhh but slightly too salty for me- but was perfect for my husband. The corn bread Madeline’s with whipped honey butter WOWWZAAA.The gazpacho, tomato galette, and strawberry soufflé were so delicious and flavorful !!!!!! Can’t go wrong really .. gotta go with what you’re feeling !!!
This place will wake up your tongue. So many different flavors and textures in the meal. This place is an experience.Came for my birthday and everything we ordered was SO good and presented so beautifully, the salad, mocktails, etc.The wait staff was really attentive and nice as well. Still dreaming about the whipped butter ????
Best restaurant in Greenpoint. Elegant plating, exceptional cooking, outstanding taste and excellent service. Can't be more satisfied with this place. Perfect for special occasion or just a nice weekend dining experience.
