Contribute FeedbackLe Parisien remains a charming haven of French cuisine, inviting diners into an intimate, Parisian atmosphere. While the menu boasts beloved classics such as escargot and steak frites, recent feedback suggests that consistency in quality and service has waned, particularly post-COVID. Though the ambiance is cozy and often romantic, service experiences can be hit or miss, with some patrons citing unfriendly interactions. Nevertheless, many still commend the delightful flavors, notably the crème brûlée and affordable wine options, affirming that this little gem is worth a visit for those seeking a taste of France in the heart of New York.
Duck is fantastic. Service is excellent and the space is warm and inviting. Highly recommend and surprisingly very reasonably priced.
I have been coming here for years…I came here with my grandfather and my mother .. I cannot believe how grotesquely rude the staff has become. This is an absolute embarrassment and her parents should be ashamed.I always bring anyone I can possibly recommend here… I will never do so again.I simply asked if they took Apple Pay and she threw an absolutely tantrum …they doing indeed take cashless payments, but it is trough Clover ….simple explanation would’ve sufficed. So if you get the rude waitress with blonde hair and the tattoos …JUST LEAVE.Save your money.Core memory from my child from destroyed.
The food has gone down hill. We use to go often and the food was always top notch but since Covid everything has stalled. The restaurant was too dark as well. The prices have also skyrocketed.
We have been coming here for several years now it is consistently very good. In fact, when we come into New York City for a visit it’s our first choice.
This is a great, little French Bistro with a fairly short menu of French Bistro classics. The prices are very fair and the service was excellent. We shared the Country Pate which was very good and then ordered the duck confit and 1/2 roast chicken. Both were excellent with crisp skin, tender, juicy meat and nice accompaniments. We had a good bottle of Sancerre with our meal. For dessert we shared an excellent Creme Brûlée, which was large enough to share. The tables are close together and the restaurant was noisy as it was full. I would certainly return for a fair priced meal and it’s French Bistro atmosphere and food.
