Contribute FeedbackLamia's restaurant received mixed reviews recently. Many patrons were disappointed with limited menus, slow service, and overcooked or raw dishes. However, others praised the fresh seafood, creative decor, and friendly staff. Despite some flaws, some diners enjoyed the ambiance and specialties like salt-baked fish and Tuna steak. Overall, Lamia's may have room for improvement, but still offers a unique dining experience worth checking out, especially for seafood lovers looking for a charming atmosphere and good value.
I saw the lobster dinner is $29.95 Monday only, so I went in and tried to order to go. They then told me it's dine in only. I told them I didn't see anywhere saying dine in only. I told them fine. I will dine in. I had looked around. Only I other group on my left also dine in. I had waited 20 minutes, another group sat down and ordered. 10 minutes later, they got their foods. My came 2 minutes after them. As I were eating, there were an old couple dine in as well. After they had ordered. Their foods came 5 minutes later. Something strange is going on. Is it because I didn't order any alcohol or maybe I'm Asian? They even offered the old couple brighter light. I did ask to sit at the bar because it's much brighter. They didn't answer me.
The decor and atmosphere are awesome! Great drinks, quality seafood, and excellent service. Sam the bartender was amazing. He made me the best fresh fruit margarita and even suggested a few spots for me to go party. Definitely check this place out!
I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The sushi was equally impressive, with flavors that really stood out. I must give special recognition to Bota, our server, who was absolutely amazing and added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. If you visit, make sure to try the hamachi crudo – it's an absolute must-try and undeniably delicious!
Just celebrated my birthday here on Saturday and it was amazing! From the staff to the food and the ambiance! All amazing! Cannot wait to go back!
Came here for restaurant week dinner on Friday night. The ambience is just superb, decor is super beautiful, and everything is super clean. The staff , John and Sam, and our lady forgot her name, sorry) are very friendly. We had few flaws though- it took quite long time for our food to be served, the waiter served our food to another table and filet mignon was well done instead of medium rare. But hey it’s a seafood place, so it’s a lesson for us- don’t order meat in places like this ?. But one of the managers, John, went above and beyond to make sure we had very pleasant experience, they were very apologetic and offfered us something to compensate for all negative experiences. . Seafood carbonara was just perfect , so delicious and quite a big portion, and fish popcorn was great as well, and clams. We’ were not impressed with crab cakes though. But we definitely will come back here. Evening was very lovely and we definitely recommend this restaurant
