This is THE BEST Italian restaurant in WNY. I been to a few other well known Italian restaurants in the area (not gonna name names) and they can't compare. The ambiance is so beautiful. The painted murals, wine bottles, music, so nice. I've never had a bad meal here either, although my favorites are the Tuscan salad with Chicken and the Cajun chicken and shrimp with Alfredo noodles. I am a good tipper, at least 20 percent. However, when I returned home and looked at my bill, there was an extra charge that I had not noticed. Kitchen appreciation charge. It was slipped in without my knowledge. I like the restaurant and will return, but my tips will be 10 percent (a customer appreciation tip). View all feedback.
The food is excellent. The service is classy. The owner always stops at the table to make sure customers are happy.
My family has been going to Ilio DiPaolo for many years after Bills games. The service is amazing. The waters/waitresses are always super nice. The food is amazing. I never had a bad meal. It just a really great place!!!

An old school neighborhood restaurant for special occasions. I visited between Christmas and New Year's, and my booth was under an artificial grape arbor highlighted with white lights and amaryllis plants. Portions here are enormous. The a la carte garden salad is nearly enough for an entree, and is $3.99.
