Despite the cozy ambiance and beautifully presented dishes, issues with staff knowledge and attention, as well as disappointment with special occasion recognition, have left some diners dissatisfied. The outdoor dining setup has also been criticized for not meeting expectations. Overall, while some have had a memorable dining experience with delicious meals, others have been let down by the service and food quality at this restaurant.
I had the benefit of eating Harris' last night. Maybe not the best choice in coming the day after Thanksgiving, but I was taken out by a friend's family who were in town for the holidays and couldn't refuse the offer. What can I say, I'm a gluttanous pig!: Harris' definitely lived up to the hype. The elegant setting had an intimate open dining room with several private seating areas. You can tell the staff takes pride in their work as they come across as extremely passionate.
Foragers table was a recommended by a friend who has been here a number of times. We were not disappointed. The ingredients are clearly extremely fresh and are very well prepared. The service staff is very friendly and tremendously attentive. From cocktails to dessert we were presented with delicious food and beverages.
Went for brunch... Amazing pancakes... moist and they have a subtle orange flavor that's delicious. Egg white omelette was excellent too; I like having a side of greens with potatoes instead of just potatoes on the side. Nice strong coffee too. All the ingredients tasted super fresh. I like that they are all locally sourced; they are mindful of the carbon footprint of their business. Great service, food, and atmosphere for a Sunday brunch, really enjoyed. Definitely will be coming back.
Amazing meal. Had the crispy asparagus and I really enjoyed the sauce it came with. The gnocchi was so rich, creamy and delicious. I loved the local ingredients and they even give you a map of where they all come from. Would recommend.
Small place, lively atmosphere, good food. Fun selection of seasonal and local ingredients with a heavy French and Italian influence. Cocktails were good and the wine menu was well balanced. Not cheap, but won't break the bank either with mains around $30.
