I may not have been able to pronounce my main dish, but it was probably the best food I have ever eaten. Even the mashed potatoes were the best I have ever had. The crème brûlée for dessert was also delicious. I wish I could afford to eat like this every day. View all feedback.
What Clotilde Batz doesn't like about Felix:
The host was super rude. I haven't been to Felix in awhile and had enjoyed it a good deal in the past but the music was SUPER loud, it was extremely chaotic, and totally unpleasant. I couldn't even hear conversation sitting super close to my lunch companion. Clearly they've changed management or something, but it was awful. View all feedback.
Terrible! we went to liverpool vs chelsea and the game went to extra time and punish. when the punishments began, the host (a very rude older Asian lady) came to us and told us to finish our drinks and leave immediately. we wanted to stay, but they started to tell us that our bill was not big enough 200 to finish the game. we were shocked! worst service I have ever received in my life. Never go.
We had the short rib tacos, gnocchi and wobbly soup everything was excellent, but what I enjoyed most was watching the people. the service was fast and friendly it is a good opportunity to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Fantastic brunch without waiting on a Sunday afternoon. in soho the prices were somewhat steep. the truffle friars should die. I got a glass of champagne and really felt like I was in France for a few hours. send a friend who visits the city.
Terrible Experience! Worst possible service in NYC! Please run away!Booked a Sunday dinner table for a large party through Resy 5 weeks in advance. Called in several times to confirm the reservation and received different responses about what time the kitchen closes. There was so much miscommunication among stuff it is obviously their job to know that the kitchen is open or closed at 6pm on a Sunday!Once we arrived, we friendly greeted the bouncer, mentioned we have a dinner reso but he was obnoxious to us. We had to wait for 30min outside in the cold to be seated in their outdoor heated cabana. Food was bad and our server kept forgetting half of the drinks and utensils. Some of the drinks arrived 50min late! After we were done with dinner, the staff told us about bottle service to move us to the party indoors. We ordered bottles, gave them my id and credit card, and the manager moved us to the table. Everything was fine until the owner, an old obnoxious short guy, showed up out of the blue, stopped us and asked us to leave immediately! For no reason he kept yelling that he is the one who tells us what to do. I WAS SHOCKED! Never have been treated like that. I demanded my credit card and id back since no service had been provided. When the manager came and explained to him that we had already ordered bottle service and she had shown us to the table he told us we can go back. We obviously left immediately and went to a nearby bar to continue the night. The old owner is truly mentally unstable and rude. Will never go back! I was so shocked and upset! He ruined a fun night of celebrations for absolutely no reason.
There is nothing wrong with this place but I left rather unconvinced about everything! Service was OK; The wine had some teething problems; The food was OK; But overall not a place to stand out from the crowd of restaurants in NY. Not bad, not to good…average is a good definition of it!!!
